Situated in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent and within easy reach of the court centres of Staffordshire, Cheshire, Shropshire & beyond, we offer traditional barristers' services in a modern and progressive way.
For over 25 years we have provided expert advice and representation in a wide range of practice areas, including family,
crime and common law.
We are committed to delivering a personal service which is friendly, plain speaking and always remains focused on the needs of our clients.
The rules that govern lawyers have changed and many members of Regent Chambers are now able to accept instructions from the public without the need to first instruct a solicitor.
This can have a number of advantages, in particular clients can directly access the expert advice and representation provided by a barrister, at lower cost.
Please contact us if you would like to arrange a free consultation so we can assess whether your case is suitable for public access representation.
Covid-19 Update : Re-Opening 21 Feb 2022
We're pleased to announce that in light of the removal of COVID-19 restrictions we are now able to conduct conferences in person at chambers with clients and other interested parties.
We have also recently improved Video Hearing technology to enable remote hearings to take place from chambers and to facilitate multi-room participation if necessary. It is possible for lay and professional clients to attend such hearings by arrangement, although limitations on the number of people that can attend apply. Please contact us for more information.
Our barristers are able to use Video Link and Conference Call facilities as required by either the client or court. We are able to arrange video-conferences using the Court Video Platform, Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
We have moved to hybrid working practices but can still be contacted via the usual telephone number or email addresses.
We prefer to work with digital files but please call or email to arrange the delivery or collection of hardcopy documents or case files.
We continue to use the DX secure document exchange system. Our DX is 20720 (Hanley).
