Crime

 

Neil is a long established criminal advocate with years’ of experience and has regularly appeared before the Crown and Magistrates’ Courts in the Midlands.

​

He has undertaken numerous cases that feature serious violence, including grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery and false imprisonment.

​

Cases have included large scale drug supply conspiracies, involving substantial quantities of class A drugs, distributed by ‘county-line’ organised crime groups.

​

Neil is also experienced in the prosecution of sexual offences, including youths accused of rape.

 

He has conducted cases where death has been caused by dangerous or careless driving.

​

He has been led in complicated and lengthy trials involving multiple complainant accounts of historical sexual abuse, modern slavery and homicide.

​

Neil was formerly a grade 3 prosecutor and has intricate knowledge of the Proceeds of Crime following a period of time working as an asset recovery specialist in cases arising from multi-million-pound HMRC frauds.
