Kirstie's practice has concerned the full spectrum of family work - incorporating both public and private law – before the High Court, County Court and FPC.

She has particular experience of cases under the Children's Act - most commonly relating to issues of contact or residence – some of which have featured jurisdictional arguments. In care proceedings she has acted for family members, guardians and local authorities. Many of these cases have hinged upon the evidence (and cross-examination) of expert or professional witnesses.

Kirstie frequently acts in matters relating to the financial implications of divorce, often with significant assets in dispute and involving claims under the Inheritance Act & Trusts of Land Act.

Domestic violence and the associated claims for relief also form a regular part of her work.

Kirstie is a member of the local Family Justice Council.
