Joanne has extensive experience in defending criminal cases, across a broad range of criminal law. She has regularly represented clients facing very serious allegations, including matters of dishonesty, violence and the supply of drugs.

Joanne previously worked as a solicitors' clerk in Stoke-on-Trent and qualified as an accredited police station representative, before completing an honours degree in law at Staffordshire University and the Bar Vocational Course in London.

Formerly a member of No. 5 Chambers in Birmingham, Joanne joined Regent Chambers in January 2009.
