Catherine has defended in a wide range of criminal cases before the Crown & Magistrates' Court. She has also appeared in a variety of coroners inquests.

Catherine has substantial experience of offences involving serious violence (including cases of multiple murder), the supply of drugs and theft.

In addition she has particular experience in defending those accused of sexual offences. Matters have included allegations of rape, historic offences and young complainants. She has regularly dealt with cases demanding sensitive cross-examination via video-link.

Catherine is a member of the Criminal Bar Association and Criminal Pro-Bono Unit.
